Inauguration of 'Automobile Engineering Department Association' - 5th Aug 2011

The Department of Automobile Engineering has organized the Inaugural function of 'Automobile Engineering department association' on 5th August 2011 at the MBA hall.

The Chief guest of the function, Mr. Armin H.Huck, Erbatech textile plant & Equipments, Director operations delivered the inaugural address.

 He stressed the need for Time Management and also advised to analyze and organize things before starting the activities.  He was explaining the effects of globalization and the contribution of India and also stressed the point that we have all the opportunity to excel in all fields.

Our Vice-Chancellor Dr.K.Ramasamy, felicitated the function.

Dr.G. Karuppasmi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering delivered the presidential address. He appreciated the activities carried out by our students and the working models of the cars that are built and parked inside the university. He also motivated our students in developing their communication skills through ‘Two minute presentation’ at the beginning of every class.

Students interacted with Mr. Armin H.Huck and enriched their knowledge.

First Year BE Induction programme - 2011 Batch of students

The Induction programme for the First year BE students was held on 14. 7.2011.

 

With an overwhelming strength, the function started off with a positive beginning. Dr. P. T. Hemamalini, Prof & HOD, Science and Humanities Department welcomed the gathering.

The chief guest, Dr.S. Velumani, Managing Director, Om Shakthi Hospitals, Coimbatore delivered the inaugural address.

 

  

Dr. R. Vasanthakumar - Chancellor of Karpagam University inspired the students saying “LIFE IS GROWTH, GROWTH IS LIFE” and insisted the students to be strong in basic concepts.

 

Dr. P. Lakshmanaperumalsamy – Registrar, Dr. G. Karuppusami, Dean - Faculty of Engineering, Fulbright Scholar, Prof. Aranhae, felicitated the students.  

INAUGURATION OF AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Karpagam University has organised “AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION” - ARESA on 29.07.2011(Friday) at 11:00 a.m at the University Premises.

The Chief Guest of the function was Shri.K.PETER ABRAHAM, Airport Director, Airport Authority of India, Civil Airport, Coimbatore, and he emphasized on the Advancement of Technology and the upcoming trends in Aviation for the students and had an informative interaction with them.

Dr. R. Vasanthakumar - Chancellor of Karpagam University inspired the students saying “LIFE IS GROWTH, GROWTH IS LIFE” and insisted the students to be strong in basic concepts.

Dr. P. Lakshmanaperumalsamy – Registrar, appreciated the students’ activities in making models and encouraged them to maintain the same tempo.

Dr. G. Karuppasmi – Dean – Faculty of Engg., in his felicitation praised the students for their hard work in making the function a grand success and added that the dynamic abilities of Aeronautical students can overshadow any feat possible if given a chance. Prof. R. Sivaprakasam - Head of Aeronautical department also felicitated the function.

The Students of IInd & IIIrd year B.E Aeronautical Engineering displayed various working and non-working models of Airport, aircraft, Radar System, Conventional control system in Aircraft, Wind tunnel, Biplane and missiles.
